Alec Baldwin has reportedly returned back to the acting industry, as part of a documentary in which he covers his travels to the United Kingdom.
Alec Baldwin Returns To Work Following The ‘Rust’ Incident-‘I Just Was Like, Oh, God’
This is a significant milestone since it has been around 3 and a half months since the actor had been away from the screens, ever since his prop gun incident on the set of ‘Rust’ which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Although an investigation is still ongoing in order to determine whether or not Alec, or anyone else for that matter, is going to be held liable, there is no denying that this has had an impact on Alec’s approach to work.
In a post to his followers on Instagram, Alec shared a video of himself discussing the difficulties he had in returning to work. The actor was alleged to have said the following: “I don’t work as much as I used to.
“And I’ve said this before maybe, but you go to work, and you forget what you’re supposed to do. I just was like, oh, God what do you do…It’s strange to go back to work.”
These comments will suggest that Alec is seriously considering his future in the industry. And that is not just because of what had happened on the set of ‘Rust.’
He is not getting any younger, coupled with the fact that he has achieved what most actors could only ever dream of in his career.
With that being said, he has nothing more to prove especially in light of the up-and-coming actors that are going to provide stiff competition. He added: “Everybody’s young compared to me, especially an independent film where there are good people.
“There are very good people but everybody’s chasing all the good people and a lot of the best ones get gobbled up by projects that have more money.”
It is not surprising that Alec has found it difficult to adjust after what has happened, but if he can manage to overcome those initial hurdles, then he will be in a better frame of mind to consider his future. So what do you think?
