Adele may have returned to the music industry with a bang, but a lot has happened during the six years that she has been absent from making songs.

Adele’s relationship troubles have been no secret to the public. She has a child with her ex Simon Konecki, but aside from that, their bond was not very healthy.
And yet, these troubles were the source of her new music which has gone down very well with her fans. During an interview on Radio One, Adele admitted how she would start fights with her ex-lover.
She said: “It [new song] was first song I wrote for the album, going back beginning of 2019 really… It [song] was sort of that thing of initiating a discussion.
“Not in the case of my son’s dad – or a massive bloody fight, which I definitely started some fights post my relationship.” Nevertheless, Adele did not seem to regret her behaviour during her time with Simon.
This was very hypocritical given that the singer has been praised in the past for overcoming depression and anxiety. However, she may have been responsible for causing some major rifts within her relationship.
In response to this criticism, the singer stated: “Haha! Normally I am not confrontational, but you can initiate something then be like ‘hang on a minute, go easy on me bare with me as I try to find my feet.”
Regardless of what you may think of Adele, she has moved on with her life. Her new music has coincided with her new lover Rich Paul.
The pair had gotten together this year and have not looked back since. It is no wonder that she is using her happiness to write further songs down the line.
Having said all that, she will have to be wary of what she puts out in her music. After all, Simon is still the father of her son. And once something has been said publicly, it cannot be taken back.
Adele’s new album is set to be released on November 19, 2021. And it promises to give us an insight into the darkest moments of her life.
