According to Sheryl Lee Ralph, she was a victim of sexual assault by a well-known television judge in the past.

She further claimed that the incident was witnessed by “everybody” at the TV network, but the network chose to cover it up to avoid negative media attention.

During a recent podcast interview with Way Up With Angela Yee, the actress disclosed the startling piece of information.

While she did not disclose the identity of the television personality or the network involved, she did confirm that it was not Judge Greg Mathis, who has been hosting the show Judge Mathis for 24 seasons since 1999.

In her comments, she said: “This man walked in, grabbed me by the back of my neck, turned me around and rammed his nasty a** tongue down my throat. And everybody at the network saw it.”

The celebrity shared that she chose to speak out with the intention of inspiring other females to assert their rights.

She further elaborated that she was prepared to file a complaint and reached out to Marc Morial, the ex-Mayor of New Orleans who served for eight years.

Ralph mentioned that the network, which was not named, had requested her to refrain from speaking to maintain their reputation.

Her following comments confirmed as much: “Somebody on the network tapped me on the shoulder saying, “Please don’t.”

“They did not want any bad press around their show, and did not care what had just happened to me.” The social media response was far from sympathetic, however.

This was on the grounds that Ralph had failed to disclose the name of the person that was involved. Therefore, she came across as someone who was hungry for attention.

And yet, it could be argued that she may be very cautious since disclosing the name of the person could get her involved in legal action. Not only that, but there is also a question of proof.

One person wrote: “THAT’S RIDICULOUS AND ABSURD. IF YOU CAN’T NAME THE ASSAILANT YOU’RE AN ABETTOR & PART OF THE PROBLEM.”

While another person stated: “Some women will do and say Anything to be kinda relevant in the Media again.” It is fair to say that Sheryl has been through a lot.
