According to Grace Van Dien, she encountered instances of sexual harassment while working on a recent film, leading her to pause her acting profession.

During a livestream on Twitch, Van Dien claimed that a film producer invited her to participate in a threesome. This experience has caused the actress to decline four movie offers in the past two and a half weeks.
In her comments, she said: “One of the last movies I did, one of the producers asked me to, like, he hired a girl that he was sleeping with, and then he had her ask me to have a threesome with them. So like, that’s my boss. I didn’t [do it] and I cried.”
The performer mentioned that she informed her management team about the alleged incident and considered it to be the appropriate course of action. Additionally, one of her castmates was present and witnessed the encounter.
This may explain why she took a break from acting, as it is bound to have an impact on her mental health. Not only that, but the chances of performing any working relationship with that said producer is most likely over. And at a time where the acting profession is more competitive than ever, this is likely to shape her prospects moving forward.
But in the meantime, the star is trying to remain as positive as ever. Her following comments confirmed as much: “That’s why I’m going to stick to streaming for a little bit, and I hope that’s not a huge wrench in your plans for me, but I’m happy here.”
The response on social media was one of outrage. Large numbers of people demanded that the person responsible was held to account. One person wrote: “Not that it is right, but isn’t that what Hollywood and that whole crowd does?”
