Kaitlyn Bristowe, best known for appearing on The Bachelorette, has revealed that she would have gone over and beyond if it meant that she could still be with her ex-fiancé, Shawn Booth.

When speaking to the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast, Kaitlyn opened up on how she saw Shawn as the perfect man: “I was madly in love with him. I thought that was my person, and I would have done anything to try to stay with him.” And yet, destiny had other plans as the couple split after three years having met on The Bachelorette before getting engaged.
Nevertheless, Kaitlyn did reveal there was a certain pressure to stay together, given the nature of the show. She told the Off the Vine podcast, the following comments: “I think he felt that way. I don’t feel like I did because, I mean, there is definitely a lot of pressure on us. Through those years it did feel like a lot of pressure, and people were always chiming in and kept talking about your relationship and think they know your relationship.
“I found that hard to keep up with because people did not know we were struggling on the other side. And clearly, this had a negative impact as fans thought they had a perfect bond which naturally perpetuated the never-ending cycle of being perfect: “I think he felt the pressure to stay together because of what people would think.
“I sound like I am bashing him, which I might be, [but] I think he was kind of like, Everyone thinks we are perfect, let’s try and make it work. I was like, Everyone thinks we’re perfect and I do want to try to make it work.” Despite her previous struggles, Kaitlyn is now in a much better place. She is currently in a relationship with Jason Tartick, and by all accounts, things are going well.
She even has a plan to have children with Jason in the future. And her appearance on Dancing with the Stars added to that given her professional partner, Artem Chigvintsev, had just become a recent father. She told Us Weekly at the time: “It’s definitely giving me baby fever. “I’m like, ‘OK let’s just win this mirrorball so I can go have babies!”
