Such a situation could damage a friendship and breed a feeling of jealousy. That has naturally transpired but not enough to destroy the relationship. In an interview on the Here for the Right Reasons podcast, Corinne stated how she still has a friendship despite being hurt: “She knows I will always be there for her. If she needs me, at the end of the day, I’ll be there for her.
“She’s been there for me. She just chose to do something that I don’t really think is right in a friendship.” So is the hurt anything to do with Michael? After all, Corinne may not have the best opinion of him, and vice versa. That is not the case, as Corinne simply feels that it is unacceptable. She added: “It has nothing to do with the guy — I mean goodbye to the guy.
“It was more [that it] really hurt my feelings that someone I considered one of my best friends and family would even just be OK with doing that when I wouldn’t look at any of my friends’ boyfriends twice. I don’t know, it just feels a little uncomfortable.”
So when did the two get together? They came out as an item on Valentine’s Day and marked the occasion during their vacation to Mexico. In a post to their fans on Instagram, the two were pictured together standing side by side. The post was captured with the following comments: “Happy Valentine’s Day from Cabo (because chips, guac & spicy margs are the way to my heart).”
Corinne, for her part, did not see the relationship coming, and so when the news dropped, it was a bombshell. This was not just the news itself but also the manner in which it was communicated. She revealed: “She had texted me to quote ‘give me the courtesy,’ which I also don’t really think was the right wording for that. But yeah, she did ‘give me the courtesy’ and let me know.”
