ABC ‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Colton Makes the Announcement

Colton first made the announcement that he had tested positive for the virus on Instagram. He posted, “It’s been kicking my ass, just to put it pretty bluntly. The main things is I can’t even walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath or go to the bathroom without having to sit down because I’m exhausted.” He also made it a point to tell his fans that social distancing is the answer for not getting the virus. He has been posting updates ever since he got out of the hospital. On March 23, he made another Instagram post that read, “Breathing is challenging. The best was to describe it is feeling like I only have access to 20% of my lungs. I can only imagine how people with pre-existing health conditions feel with this.”

He just did an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine and in it, he goes through his day to day life living with the virus. He begins by telling fans that he started feeling the symptoms on March 17. He said he started feeling a headache coming on then a fever, with body aches. Then, that Friday, he got the positive test results back. He said he would sleep for about 16 hours and just cough. Tuesday of this week, he posted that he has started to feel better and that he has symptoms, but no fever anymore.

We also hope that everyone who has tested positive for the virus is feeling better and taking the rest that they need right now.
