The young teen, who is best known for posting embarrassing video clips of her and her mother Kellyanne Conway on her TikTok account, shared the news in an upbeat video posted to the video-sharing platform from the audition stage.

“Hey guys, I’m here at ‘American Idol’ confessional,” Claudia says in the video, smiling widely. “I met Ryan Seacrest today, and I have my audition soon,” she said.
The young blonde also told her over 1.4 million followers that she was very nervous but also very excited about the audition.
Earlier this summer, Claudia gained notoriety for posting messages on TikTok critical of her mother and Donald Trump.
After Kellyanne’s announced her resignation as a senior aide to President Donald Trump, Claudia, who has expressed her disdain for Trump several times on social media, wrote on Twitter, “Words are not enough to express my love for my following. You are all amazing. Thank you for the support and love. May you feel my love and peace back. I am taking a break to process this recent news and to stabilize my mental health.”
But before that, she implied that her mother made her resignation announcement before speaking to her family first. Claudia said, “YEAH SORRY I HAD TO COME BACK TO POST THIS BUT. They didn’t even talk about it with any of us …just tweeted about it as if this is going to change anything and make me not emancipate myself.”
