‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers say that for those who were hoping to see Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) do an about face and perhaps settle down a little bit in his chaotic ways, they sure are in for a surprise.
That’s because it looks like Adam will continue to deliver the drama for his family, much to the dismay of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), but to the concern of his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Here’s what you need to know.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, head writer and co-Executive Producer Josh Griffith revealed what’s in store for Genoa City this month.
As far as the Newmans are concerned, he said, “Adam is on an emotional roller coaster and Victor will go to great lengths to help him. Victor’s attempts will be met with resistance from the rest of the family, and major interference from Victoria. Nikki will do her best to keep the peace as she loses patience with the havoc Adam is causing her family.”

He also teased what’s in store for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) now that she’s with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Josh said, “Kevin and Chloe will be in the middle of the drama thanks to their new roommate, Chelsea, who will find it difficult to move on from Adam despite her best intentions. We will soon learn that Chelsea is keeping a major secret from everyone in her life.”
