British Royal Family News indicate that one royal expert is saying out loud what a lot of fans and critics have been thinking this entire time, and that it’s Meghan Markle was most likely seen as a “massive problem” for the royal family. Why? Because unlike other members of the monarchy, she is one person who can’t be muted as she insists on having a voice. Here’s what you need to know.
Royal expert and author Robert Lacey was recently on Good Morning America to talk about the “real reason” behind Prince William and Prince Harry’s ongoing feud. He recently wrote the book, Battle of Brothers: William and Harry – The Inside Story of a Family In Tumult.

He says that while it’s been reports that William and Harry’s feud began when the Duke of Cambridge suggested to his brother that he was moving too fast in his relationship with Meghan Markle, the fact of the matter is that Meghan was just too much of a force and personality for the royal family.
He said, “Meghan was a massive problem for the Royal Family. It’s easy to be wise after the event. Here’s a self-made woman. A self-made millionairess, the only one in the Royal Family who’s made her own money, created her own celebrity and not inherited it.”
If that weren’t enough, Lacey also said William had every right to approach Harry with his concerns. He said, “William was quite right to say to Harry: ‘Look, this is a challenge you’re bringing into the family, how’s it going to work?’ And with wisdom after the event, one has to say not enough preparations were made.”
Unfortunately though, Lacey believes that things will never, ever be the same between the two brothers every again.
“I think we’re gonna have to face the reality that these are two brothers that have drawn two different lessons from their troubled childhoods and they’re going in different directions,” he adds. “I think the best we can hope for is that they can maintain their fundamental love and respect for each other and remain in good terms for the future, but I don’t think we’re going to see Prince Harry and Meghan as working royals back in the family. That doesn’t mean to say though they won’t remain members of the family respected for their different values and different opinions.”
