In a recent episode, we had a quick exchange that made us wonder what’s going on. Let’s see what he said, what it could mean, and how this might be another case of bad timing.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The plot thickens
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Philip has been talking to a partner in crime. This week, he spoke to this person about how Xander Cook’s been hired back. He also implied plans for the company that are less than altruistic.
The interesting part? When he was talking about Victor, he used the word, “Dad.” There’s just one problem with that. He’s Victor’s only living child. Or is he?

So, of the two other children, our best guess is that this is referring to Bo Brady. Fans have wanted this character back, and there have been rumblings here and there about the character’s possible return.
Whether this is true, and whether he’ll be played by Peter Reckell, the most recent portrayer, or someone else would be a guess at this point. But we do think there are a couple of other clues this is the case. Let’s look at the first one.

So, obviously, Philip isn’t being such a great guy. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal he’s out to do harm to the family business. Bo was not only a police detective, he was also a bounty hunter. Is it possible this partnership between the two is a ruse to expose Philip?
Maybe even catch him in something bigger? We’ll have to see. But from what we read about Bo, he just doesn’t sound like the kind who would go after his own father like that. Philip, on the other hand, has pinged our shady radar from the first second he reappeared.
There’s another reason we think it could be him. During the whole Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) mess, we had a couple of scenes where she and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) were having fantasies of what could be.
And in them, they had a child named Bo. Soaps seem to have a pattern of mentioning characters more right before they return. Finally, there’s another reason we are better on Bo.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Bad timing
Now, we all know that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) is off the show as of this week. The actress opted not to return after the shutdown. This kind of reminds us of when Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) returned after Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) left for a while.
It wouldn’t surprise us to see something like that happen again. And it would be great timing in another sense for Ciara—if and when she finally resurfaces. The actress is said to be off regular status, but they haven’t said anything about her being gone for good.
Also, we think they’d planned something a while back. After reading Bo’s page, we see he was a Merchant Marine. This is far from a Navy SEAL, as Hope was supposed to have a story with, but what if that was just code to keep the secret under wraps? We’ll have to wait and see, but we do think the odds of this return are very good.
