She sees right off that Elisa Cantú Robles (Angelique Boyer) is in love with Leonardo “Leo” Velasco Rodríguez (Andrés Palacios). She also called out María José “Majo” Cantú Robles (Alejandra Robles Gil) for her behavior after everything Elisa went through to rescue her.
Plus, she once more told off her mother about her own treatment of others. We love it! But a more depressing insight came in a talk with Elisa.

And she even partly blamed herself for the situation, as her constant mood swings and other issues aren’t easy to handle. We like this side to her, and are more and more looking at Victoria Robles de Cantú (Leticia Calderón) side-eyed in this. She strikes us as the real cause for a lot of Renata’s problems.
Especially given no one else in the family seems to have a similar issue. So, that seems to rule out an inherited condition. Plus, Victoria is constantly ordering him to “control her” and medicate Renata.

Meanwhile, Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal the situation got even more ugly after Victoria confronted Elisa about lying to them. She thinks along the lines of Majo—Elisa lied and carried on some romance with her sister at a kidnapper’s mercy. This is only going to get worse.

Case in point— Fernanda Navarro (Michelle González) learned something huge. She’s, of course, working alongside Eugenio Serrano (Alejandro Camacho) in this whole thing. She’s even trying to set Elisa up with some other guy to make her forget how in love she is with Leo. She will be useful in another way soon.

Se, Marcelo and Sonia de Serrano (Sandra Kai) were video chatting. Apparently, she knows where the missing artifacts are. And, of course, they’re at Eugenio’s. Marcelo stepped away a moment during the conversation and this gave Fernanda an opening.
See, she walked in Marcelo’s office and saw a shot of Sonia coming back to the camera. Before Sonia can see her, Fernanda placed her finger over the camera. It doesn’t take a lot of guessing to figure out what’s next. She’ll obviously tell her accomplice and he’ll do what he’ll do something about the disloyal Sonia.

Finally, a quick update on the plot we can’t be bothered to care about. It seems Leslie’s (Assira Abbate) video was discovered. And the fact abuela knew. So, now Leslie’s been branded with a scarlet letter and thrown out of her house.
