First, Imperio de Mentiras spoilers reveal it wasn’t just Elisa Cantú Robles (Angelique Boyer), Leonardo “Leo” Velasco Rodríguez (Andrés Palacios) and the police trying to save Majo.
As you might remember from last time, Darío Ramírez (Iván Arana) got the kill order from Eugenio Serrano (Alejandro Camacho). Darío didn’t want to call his men, but he wasn’t in a position to say no. So, he gave the order and then took off to rescind it.
He just couldn’t get through to his people, so he went to the spot he’d ordered them to take Majo. They were just about to kill her when he managed to take out both his men from a hidden spot.
When the bodies turned up, the police have hope she survived. There’s no sign of her body anywhere. However, this isn’t good for Darío, as this will also make Eugenio and Gilberto (Carlos Aragón) doubt the job’s done.

As for Majo, after bringing her to his own home and letting her briefly chat with his mother, Darío decided Majo’s gotta go. He urged her to just leave now and go home.
We personally find that strange, as that leads her right back to the “family friend/uncle” that ordered her dead to start with. Plus, it proves he didn’t follow orders. And, he never told Majo who’s really behind this whole thing.
Seems it won’t matter, though. Majo returned shortly after. It seems she can’t leave him, and she would rather stay with her captor. Not a huge surprise. Especially since she got fed a bunch of lies her family isn’t doing a thing to save her.

Elsewhere, we got a bit of a glimpse into the family and Renata’s issues. At one point or another she’s been diagnosed as having schizophrenia and/or a personality disorder.
This came out during another drama moment between her, Victoria Robles de Cantú (Leticia Calderón), Elisa, and Leo. Leo showed what a good guy he is by diffusing the conflict immediately. He’d invited Renata outside to get some air.
While they spoke, she admitted there’s a good side to being the oldest—you learn a lot of stuff the younger ones don’t. We personally think these were bad things that caused her issues to begin with. Why? Because she refused to share these things with Leo. See, she’s scared if she does, he’ll run the other way. Renata thinks he’s good for Elisa, so she doesn’t want that.
As for the future of this family, one good thing came out of this conversation. He’d mentioned to her how much Elisa admires her. This caused Renata to hug Elisa later, something Elisa was grateful for. Apparently, Renata is never that affectionate. So, we also have a feeling this will deepen the bond between Leo and Elisa, as he’s responsible for the change.

As for tonight, we find Majo falling more in love with Dario. To prove her feelings, she’ll decide they should get intimate. And who did not see this coming. Are we right?
Speaking of Dario, Imperio de mentiras spoilers indicate Leo and José Luis Velasco Rodríguez (Hernán Mendoza) find Leo’s house tonight and will do their best to rescue Majo. They really have no idea what they’re in for.
And we can just imagine how Victoria will feel when she learns her daughter is falling for some low-life thug. She’s already got enough to deal with in Marcelo Arizmendi (Juan Martín Jáuregui). Of course, this could be a ways off. It seems a bit early for them to find Majo already.
