It looks like Ant Anstead wants the world to know that it was his future ex-wife Christina Anstead who wanted to end their marriage, and not him. At least, that’s what he implied in a new Instagram post that he shared with his fans this week. Here’s what you need to know.
Ant shared a throwback photo of the soon-to-be ex-couple during happier times and captioned it with, “Anyone who really knows me knows that I don’t like to share private matters publicly. I have remained silent while holding on to hope. I never gave up on us. I pray Christina’s decision brings her happiness.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for many of Ant’s social media followers to believe that it was Christina who decided to pull the plug on their marriage. Many of his fans commented on his post with, “She really sounds to me like a person that just gives up if things aren’t going right or her way. Very sad. I hope you find your happiness.
Been there, it’s really hard but it does get better, eventually,” along with, “It’s heartbreaking when a relationship ends and it’s one sided. I’ve been there Ant. Praying she sees the light.”
Another fan wrote, “Everyone knows this isn’t you!! This is her being screwed up. Move on and you take care of you. This will save you years of being miserable with her eventually. Be glad it happened this way.”
Without even giving the slightest hint of what went wrong, Christina shared her announcement on Instagram that she and Ant have made the difficult decision to separate. The couple share a one-year-old son, Hudson London together. Christina has two older children, Taylor and Brayden, from her marriage to Tarek El Moussa.
