TLC ‘Doubling Down with the Derricos’ spoilers indicate that during this time of Quarantine, the little Derricos, while a few initially had fevers and things, they seemed to bounce back pretty quickly and it wasn’t long before they were back to being the loud, joyful, bouncy family that they are.
Playing on the trampoline in the backyard like all healthy children should. suddenly, the oldest, Darian, approaches them and says that in honor of the triplets first birthday that she wants to do a video, which is what she was originally going to go to camp for, and had even gotten the all clear from Mom and Dad to go to a video editing camp out in Michigan, but due to Coronavirus, the entire camp got cancelled.

Instead of pouting, because this was not a Mom and Dad decision, this was a “2020 decided to take a massive crap on everyone” decision, Darian decided to just do what she would be doing at video editing camp anyway and do a video of her family.
She said that she wanted to let everyone know that they were there for them, especially little Dawsyn and Gigi, who couldn’t be around them at the time, and that they loved them and that they were still a part of the family. I think this was the nicest, sweetest gesture anyone could have done at this point and it was truly from the heart, a most cherished gift.
The fact that Darian decided to take this upon herself and basically learn video editing on her own shows a lot of initiative on her part. Sometimes, when we don’t know much about the task at hand, it’s intimidating to start.
But Darian didn’t really let that stop her, she just shrugged and said, “I guess I have to do this by myself.” being an only child I can identify with that to a point, there are some skills that you just have to take initiative and learn on your own.
I’m glad that Darian has taken the initiative and chosen to show off her talents for her family in this trying time. Someday, she’ll get to look back on her budding filmmaker skills and smile. We wish her the best. Stay tuned!!!
