CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that it looks like there’s going to be some preparations coming up, and the show is loving it.
It looks like we have a good balance in this episode, so we’d better make sure we got some tissues and comfort food as well as snack.
It’s difficult moving around and plotting in Genoa City when there’s only a handful of places to go, so it’s no surprise that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) spotted someone she didn’t want to.
Of course, she’s going to assume why Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Alyssa Montalvo (María DiDomenico) were meeting for coffee, and she’ll quickly run to tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
While they make preparations, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has received surprising news, and is going to let her guard down in front of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Nothing like a bunch of teases leading up to something to make ‘Young and the Restless’ curious and suspect a rat.

While Chelsea’s first reaction to seeing Billy and Alyssa will be panic, the next will be to find Adam and let him know what’s going on.
This will trigger Adam’s fight or flight defense, and we think it’ll be the latter. Adam has convinced himself that he’s a cold-blooded killer, so he’ll now embrace this side.
And it’ll be because of Chelsea and her love for him.
For her, this will be a chance to get Adam back at her side, and though it may be subconscious, she’s going to use this every way she can to keep Adam close.
Of course, there’s always the chance Adam and Chelsea will go to war with each other, but that’s about as outlandish as a story can get.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 16: Weak moment
Getting back to ‘Young and the Restless’ and the comment we made earlier about being teased, this is the moment.
There have been so many hints and concerns that Amanda and Devon will hook up over this that we don’t believe they will.
They’re simply trying too hard.
Instead, we expect this to be an emotional moment where Devon will support her, and the door will open but it won’t be more than that.
If they do it’s going to be interesting to see everyone’s reactions.
