CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) is opening up about the challenges of social distancing and the new and unique love scenes that require a lot of heavy acting, but absolutely no physical touching because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Here’s what you need to know.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the brunette beauty said that while the more passionate scenes might feel a little different to her, luckily they are going to look no different for the viewer. However, JMW doesn’t hold back in admitting that it’s certainly been a challenge for her and her co-stars.

“It can be a little difficult at times, when you want to go to reach to touch someone,” she said, adding, “But we are actors and you morph and you make it work… I know it sounds so weird and crazy, but these things happen all the time on set. I mean, look at CGI, you have to act [opposite something that’s not there]. We have to fake things all the time. So it can seem weird, but everyone’s really professional.”
Jacqueline also says that she wishes the term ‘social distancing’ was coined differently, seeing how she doesn’t want to be anti-social with anyone, especially when it comes to her co-stars.
“I wish we said physical distancing [instead of social distancing], because I don’t want to forget about being social and chatting with people, even though we are away from each other,” she adds. “The cast and crew, I’ve been on the show since 2008, and they are my second family, so it is important for me to be with my family and be present for them — the community is so important.”
