Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has been arrested in Corsica following an alleged incident involving “indecent exposure”.
A report from AFP Sport claims McGregor was arrested for “indecent exposure”, however after more updates, it’s been reported that he was taken for questioning for attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition.
McGregor was set to prepare in a 180-kilometer, 24-hour charity water bike race in Corsica to Monaco alongside Princess Charlene of Monaco. The event was to raise awareness of water safety. McGregor will not be allowed to attend now.
A representative for McGregor issued a statement to TMZ Sports saying:
“Conor McGregor vigorously denies any accusations of misconduct. He has been interviewed and released.”
