NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that star Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston) isn’t a picky guy but if there’s one thing he would love to do more, it’s get to spend more time in front of the cameras with actor John Aniston (Victor Kiriakis). Here’s what he has to say.

In an interview with Soaps in Depth, Rob made it no secret that he loves working with John Aniston and not just because he’s a daytime television legend, but also because he learns so much from him each and every time they are in a scene together. For Rob, he knows a good and valuable lesson when he sees one and that’s why he’s hoping DOOL producers will let him work more with John in the future.

The actor told the publication, “When they asked me who I wanted to work with, out of anyone that was there constantly, I said I think John Aniston would be great. Fast forward 6 months from when I said that, and it happened.

And look what it did! It was awesome. He’s a genius. He’s amazing. He sits there dead still and just delivers the lines in a way that gets me going. It was awesome! He’s brilliant, he is witty, he is the man, and I love him to death.”

Now, whether or not Rob will get to work with John on new scenes in the future remains to be seen. So far ‘Days of Our Lives’ is the only daytime television drama that has not resumed production after the coronavirus pandemic suspended filming back in mid-March.

Recent reports have indicated that the cast and crew are expected to be back on set by September 1. So far John Aniston has not made any comments on whether or not he will return, however many DOOL stars won’t be coming back, including Kristian Alfonso, Greg Vaughan, and Robert’s on-screen love interest, Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady).
