British Royal Family News says that there was a time in which Prince Harry and his cousin Princess Eugenie were very close, but it doesn’t appear that way anymore. In fact, there’s a possibility that Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle might have gotten in the way of their relationship. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, Princess Eugenie was none too pleased with Meghan apparently told guests at her October 2018 wedding to Jack Brooksbank that she and Harry were expecting their first child. Apparently, Eugenie felt as though Meghan was stealing her thunder on her wedding day and thought it was more appropriate for her to break the news well after her wedding day.

“It did not go down particularly well with Eugenie, who, a source said, told friends she felt the couple should have waited to share the news,” the new book, Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family says.
As many fans can recall, the pregnancy was announced to the public a few days later but the damage might have already been done. Harry and Eugenie have always been close but the dynamic of their relationship has certainly changed now that the prince is a married man living in Los Angeles with his new family. In fact, it doesn’t appear as though the two of them speak very often anymore.
“Eugenie had always been more than just a cousin to Harry. They were also the closest of friends,” it read. “Out of all the Queen’s grandchildren, Harry and Eugenie have one of the most natural connections. Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest, and great fun. The two had many nights out together in London.”
