British Royal Family News says that Meghan Markle had a very low-key family celebration to help ring in her 39th birthday. While previous reports indicated that the Duchess was hoping to throw a big birthday bash, she chose to spend the day at home with her husband, Prince Harry, and their adorable one-year-old son, Archie Harrison. This might not have been the birthday that she initially wanted, but at this point, it’s the only option Meghan has for now. Here’s what you need to know.
In an interview with Fox News, royal correspondent Neil Sean said that Meghan didn’t want anything big this year, given how the last few months have been anything but normal. With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to pull the plug on their working relationship with the royal family, to the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus, and now the backlash from the upcoming book, Finding Freedom, all Meghan wanted to do was stay home and be with her loved ones.

Sean puts it this way, “She does not want anything big or fancy as she feels this will read badly in the present climate. Meghan is exhausted with all the bad press and situations going on in their lives right now with legal and snappers, etc.”
Previous reports had indicated that Meghan Markle was hoping to have a small celebration with her tight circle of friends in Los Angeles, but that clearly hasn’t happened. In fact, both Harry and Meghan have remained at home and have seen very few people aside from her mother, Doria Ragland. That’s because they want to make sure that it will be absolutely safe before they begin going out and about again.
