Médicos, línea de vida spoilers reveal there’s a serious problem at the hospital. It’s, of course, René Castillo (Rodrigo Murray) and his shady deals. He made a new move this week when he made sure the board found out about the unusual amount of supplies ordered by the emergency department. Things he added to the order with the intent of selling for a huge personal profit.
This got Gonzalo Olmedo (José Elías Moreno Jr.) investigating, and Regina was warned to pay more attention. What he messed up on, however, is having any trust in René, who promised to support him in making sure these mistakes don’t happen again.
Later, she confronted Mireya Navarro (Erika de la Rosa) about claiming the papers had been reviewed. Regina demanded everything that needs to be signed comes at the end of the shift, when she can look at them in detail.
Of course, this made Mireya angry, and she complained to René about it. He still believes they’ll get rid of her eventually, but we don’t think Regina will make it easy.

Later on in the week, we saw some bad news. It seems the hospital lost the lawsuit against them and need to come up with a ton of money. Unfortunately, things are tight. To save the hospital, Gonzalo called an emergency meeting. He told everyone they needed to get creative and find ways to save. He just doesn’t want any of the patients to suffer for the hospital’s problems.
Of course, Médicos, línea de vida spoilers reveal this news came right after Ana Caballero (Grettell Valdez) had begged for a new dialysis machine. Gonzalo promised her one, but now that might be on hold. He already halted new orders. Of course, René came along to take advantage of this.

Ana already has problems with Regina. She thinks Regina is a favorite and will get whatever she wants. Meanwhile, Ana is stuck dealing with a crazy patient load and now might not get the machine she needs. Obviously, Rene used this to his advantage by telling her that Regina blew through a lot of supplies. While she isn’t putting all her trust and support in Rene, she also won’t let Regina off the hook.

She confronted her, claiming that if people die because Ana can’t get that new machine, it’s on Regina. This is only going to get uglier and we’re here for it. We think Ana will eventually come around and make a good ally.
