NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that fans have been expressing both their shock and dismay over Greg Vaughan’s (Eric Brady) announcement that he would be leaving the show after 8 years on the hit NBC soap. Greg made his comments during an podcast interview with General Hospital stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson.
Many longtime ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans took to their social media accounts to express just how devastated they were to hear that Greg Vaugahn would be leaving. And while this doesn’t sound like a permanent departure like Kristian Alfonso’s (Hope Brady), there’s a good chance that Greg might come back. The only thing is no one knows for certain when.

Many comments have included, “I’m devastated, as I love him on Days. Also love him on Queen Sugar. I’m very upset about all of the reported departures,” along with, “Days already fired Greg a few years ago. Then rehired him after the viewers rightly let the show and NBC know how angry they were. They just did the same thing again. He has every right to concentrate on Queen Sugar and I am sure he will have other offers. Sorry that Days is treating their actors this way, they work long hours and soon no one we care about will be left on the show.”
Another fan had this to say, “I imagine he will leave with Nicole, but I wonder if GV will go back to GH as Lucky. I prefer Jonathan Jackson, but I don’t think he is interested in reprising the role so GV could come back. Perhaps announcing that on Steve and Bradford’s podcast was intentional to drum up interest in him returning to GH versus doing it on the Days podcast.”
