CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers is saying Happy Canada Day, fellow Canadians, and Happy middle of Paul and Christine Week to YR lovers all over the globe! As Wednesday, July 1sthits, producers take fans back to an episode from December 29, 1994. Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) are nearing their New Year’s Eve wedding. However, in true YR fashion, everything couldn’t possibly go without a hitch. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has other plans – and they conclude classic scheming.

The happy almost-newlyweds leave the lawyer’s office. They had an appointment to finalize their prenup because, even in Genoa City, you have to be diligent about your fortune. However, the couple in their post-prenuptial appointment is being watched by the feisty redhead who is putting the pedal to the medal behind her 1994 vehicle.

Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) had an unexpected visit from an ex-lover. Luan, a woman from Vietnam, showed up in Genoa City with his son, Keemo. Jack was engaged to Mari Jo, but naturally called off the wedding for his beautiful Vietnamese lover. It looks like wedding planning wasn’t going so well for Genoa City residents in 1994. Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) is looking dapper as ever as he is trying to get a date to a New Year’s party. Realistically, who would ever say no to a New Year’s kiss from Shemar Moore?

Despite his best efforts, the New Year’s party gets cancelled because Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) wants to spend it alone with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). It looks like Malcolm might have to plan a party for two with the doctor friend instead. Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) have a date coming up. However, Brad’s heart might have other plans for this good-looking pair. Would you say yes to a New Year’s date with Shemar Moore?
