Coronation Street spoilers are indicating that Roy Cropper could be about to get involved in the romance going on between Evelyn Plummer and Arthur. Their relationship has been littered with meddling as Tyrone Dobbs was getting involved at the very start of the blossoming romance. Tyrone worked hard to get the couple together, but could Roy about to stick his foot in their business?
Roy has a habit of getting involved with everybody on the street, and while nobody can argue that his intentions are always good, it doesn’t always lead to the desired consequence. That will once again be the case during episodes that are set to air next week.

Viewers had been convinced for months that Roy and Evelyn were eventually going to grow closer and get together. However, Arthur’s return to Evelyn’s life meant the end of that hope, as it was clear that there was unfinished business between the two of them. Despite having a rocky start, their relationship has been going strong for the past couple of weeks.
However, next week, Roy will unintentionally crash their date as he looks to bond with Arthur over their love of trains. The two of them will immediately hit it off over their join passion for the railways, but Evelyn will be furious that Roy is encroaching on their date and could be set to deliver some strong words over the coming weeks.

Evelyn has quickly become a firm fan favourite and there will be more hilarious scenes next week as she fumes that her date is being taken over by train talk. She will shoot daggers in the direction of Roy as he continues to talk to Arthur about trains, and she will be dumbfounded when the two men agree that they should continue their conversation in the Rovers later on.
Evelyn will be furious that she will have to attend and sit by while the two of them talk about trains. However, could this be the last straw in the relationship between her and Arthur as he isn’t picking up on the signs that she would prefer just to spend one-on-one time with him?
