Actress Katherine Kelly Lang, who plays Brooke Logan on the hit CBS soap, has just revealed during an Instagram live Q&A that the cast and the crew are expected back on the set as early as next week. The beautiful Katherine Kelly Lang told fans during her Q&A session that the cast and crew are preparing for their comeback as early as next week. The last time that the show was filming inside their CBS studio was back in mid-March and right before the coronavirus pandemic shut down production and businesses all across the country and the world while also forcing millions into lockdown in their homes. Because the show has been suspended for so long, B&B and its sister soap The Young and the Restless both ran out of new material to air and have not had a new episode since late April.

Well, the good news now is that everyone is slowly but surely getting back to work. Katherine told her Instagram followers that the cast and crew are currently getting tested for Covid-19. She even said that the show is “on target” and as long as the studio gives everyone the greenlight, they should be back at work next week.
Of course, there are going to be a lot of changes made to the way that B&B will film their new episodes. According to Deadline, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced guidelines for restarting film and production, but only if local conditions permit. The California Department of Public Health released a statement that said, “To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, productions, cast, crew and other industry workers should abide by safety protocols agreed by labor and management, which may be further enhanced by county public health officers. Back office staff and management should adhere to Office Workspace guidelines published by the California Department of Public Health and the California Department of Industrial Relations, to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.”
