Especially since Ciara heard him comment before on Gabi not showing up as expected. There’s no way he’ll sit by and do nothing. As frustrated as he is with Gabi getting into trouble a lot, he’s her older brother and that will come first if he thinks she’s in danger.
We also think she’s dead-on with another point. Given how hard Jake is pushing to keep the cops out of this, she wondered if he’s more worried about the consequences to himself than Gabi. That seems the case to us, and we think that leads to something else. We’re positive there is more to this situation than he’s admitted. And it could be he’s afraid of the cops learning it.

That says to us that someone else gets involved and leads to Gabi’s rescue. We think it’s Will, as he and Sonny are convinced they’ve been lied to. Will surely will use his resources to look into this lookalike and his past.
