CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that we get a glimpse of Eva Longoria before her career blew up! Eva Longoria, who played Isabella Brana, wasn’t always ‘The Girls Next Door’ in her Hollywood roles – in fact, in Genoa City, she was the villain. Today, we watched a rerun from August 14, 2003.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Eva Longoria Wasn’t Always the Girl Next Door

As Isabella makes herself comfortable in Genoa City, she has evil plans for Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). The smart, sassy Latina is covering her basis with a brilliant alibi that should protect her and her murderous plot. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) wasn’t always the loveable lawyer that we all know and love. Back in 2003, he brought Isabella to town to break up Christine and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) so he could get in on his lost love.

Isabella did her job well and broke the happy couple up as she welcomed Paul’s son, Ricky into the world. Despite this, things weren’t all sunshine and rainbows, so Isabella wanted to take things into her own hands. How was she going to do that? Fake her own death and frame Christine for murder before she killed Christine. After all, she couldn’t be pinned for the homicide if she was dead. Brilliant, right? Thankfully, Paul and Michael learned of Isabella’s plan and saved Christine! Isabella found herself locked up in a mental health ward – which is probably a fitting place for her.

Meanwhile, Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) was gifted a necklace from her boss and strip club owner Bobby Marsino (John Enos). This seems to cause some waves for her relationship with Raul Guittierez (David Lago). It turns out not every strip club relationship results in the same fate as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Stay tuned for more throwback episodes tomorrow.
