The Young and the Restless spoilers relate that Bryton James is defending his old friend, Michael Jackson. The actor, who is best known for his role as Devon Hamilton in Genoa City, appeared in several commercials and magazine ads with the former King of Pop. Bryton is speaking out after new allegations of inappropriate behavior and misconduct against the singer have resurfaced in a new documentary titled Leaving Neverland by two former child actors and friends.

Linking an article about the matter from Forbes Magazine, Bryton wrote on his twitter account, “Over our 15 year friendship, neither I or my family ever witnessed @michaeljackson conduct himself inappropriately with a minor, or anyone for that matter. & during the time I worked with Mr. Robson as a child, he never once mentioned any wrong doing…”

Bryton didn’t make any further comments on the matter although his fans did post several different comments on his Twitter account. Many included, “Thank you so much for speaking up for Michael Jackson, Bryton,” along with, “Thank you so much for telling the truth. Facts don’t like, people do.”
Another fan wrote, “These allegations & the past in my opinion have always been financially driven. Lastly, this man isn’t even alive to defend himself. Where’s the fairness in that? Let him R.I.P.”
Now, as far as what’s next for Bryton’s character Devon on The Young and the Restless, spoilers indicate that he might have a new love interest in the works. In addition, it seems as though his sister Lily’s tough prison ordeal has had quite an impact on his life and his conscious. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
