NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is finally ready to take that next step with the love of his life, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). But at the same time, he knows that it sure did take a lot of work to get to where they are today and that’s why CIN’s engagement has been so carefully planned and thought out, according to Ben’s portrayer, Robert Scott Wilson. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the handsome actor says that Ben knows he only has one chance to propose to Ciara the right way and that’s why he doesn’t want to mess things up. What’s more, he also put in a lot of thought as to how he wanted to get this done. Robert tells the publication, “Yes, he hits one knee, and he is as romantic as he possibly can be. The whole [proposal] is threaded with a lot of their history — date locations and things that are very special to them, like fortune cookies.”

However, Ben does have his doubts. He knows that he is still referred to as the ‘necktie’ killer in Salem and that’s why he’s waited this long to propose to Ciara. Knowing that they come from two totally different worlds, he didn’t want to do anything to jeopardize her safety and her future. But at the same time, there’s no denying that the love is strong between them and that Ben doesn’t picture anyone else but Ciara to be by his side for the rest of his life. The actor explained it like this, “He has this tarnished reputation, and he didn’t want to bring down someone to his level. Now that his life is coming together, he can take that next step with her.”
