It is a perfect mixture of comedy, while also mentioning a number of important issues throughout. This comedy will not be for everyone, as it is more on the weird and random side, as it tells the story of teenagers going through a British college and encountering different problems with their sex lives.
The show isn’t for the faint-hearted as there is strong language and nudity throughout, but if you are looking for a belly laughing series that will make you feel all the emotions of all the lead characters, then you shouldn’t look past Sex Education.
Netflix Comedies: The End of The F***ing World
The End of The F***ing World has the perfect mixture between story and comedy, while not being overpowering with either. The story follows Alyssa and James as they go through their own issues of confrontation and understanding people. It follows the characters as they make the decision to run away together and embark on a road trip. Things don’t go as planned, as there are constant troubles throughout for both characters. It’s a beautiful mix of dark comedy and great storytelling and is a must-watch for those that love intriguing characters and plot.
Netflix Comedies: The Office UK
This engrossing comedy series is far bleaker than it’s American brother, but the same concept remains as it follows characters through their lives working together for a company. All the characters bring something different to the table, but it’s hard to look past Ricky Gervais as the star of the show. His character David Brent has become an icon in his own right, with his cringe-worthy comments making this show a cult classic. There are also loveable characters in the form of Tim and Dawn. But the aspect that will make viewers fall in love with this are the quotes that have made the series famous uttered by Brent.
