Say it isn’t so! Days of Our Lives comings and goings indicate that Paul Telfer is leaving the show. The actor is best known for his role as hunky bad boy Xander. Paul took to his Instagram account to announce that he would be dropping down to a recurring status on the show.

Paul wants to take some time off in order to pursue other projects in the entertainment industry, which is something that a lot of daytime television stars often do. With that being said, Paul assured his fans that he will be back from time to time, especially now that Nicole is back in Salem. As many fans know, Xander has a huge role to play with Nicole’s return.
Just recently Xander managed to get his revenge on Eric Brady after he found out that he slept with Sarah. He also got his hands on Dr. Wilhem Rolf’s diary, which Eve had kept well hidden from everyone. Dr. Rolf’s diary has information about a serum that might possibly bring Jack’s memories back. Now that Xander has this information, Eve has no choice but to do as he says. This is the kind of leverage that Xander likes to have but what he will do with it is anyone’s guess.
So far producers for Days of Our Lives have not made any comments about Xander’s future. What he will do with Dr. Rolf’s diary remains to be seen. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on the NBC network. Check your local listings for times.
