CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers say that desperate people do desperate things and that is the direction Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is headed in. That’s because he will do whatever it takes to make sure that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) gets what he deserves, even though he’s about to take the next step in his romantic life with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, actor Michael Mealor, who plays Kyle Abbott on the hit CBS soap, has this to offer, “He worried about Theo’s intentions and whether they are genuine or just another way to get under Kyle’s skin. And if so, that’s a pretty low blow. I feel like Kyle might step in, whether it’s his place or not.”

With that said, we have a feeling that Kyle might end up doing some things that he will later regret. In fact, it won’t take very long for Theo to push Kyle’s buttons and worse, push him in a shocking direction. Michael adds, “The last person you want your ex to date is your enemy so I imagine it would take Kyle to a dark place whether he likes it or not.”

‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers indicate that while Kyle might tap into his dark side, this might ripple out and affect other parts of his life, including his new romance with his other ex-wife, Summer Newman (Hunter King). “Personally, I would love Kyle to wrestle with a dark place for a little while,” the actor said, adding, “Maybe it could be the rockiness that arises in Kyle and Summer’s relationship. Who knows what lengths Kyle would go to take the pain away if Lola and Theo do end up getting together?”
With that said, it might take several months until we found out but until then, we will keep on guessing. Here’s hoping that after the coronavirus outbreak subsides, the cast of ‘Young and the Restless’ get back to work sooner rather than later!
