‘General Hospital’ spoilers impart that there are sad decisions, memory issues for the PCPD’s star witness, and some subterfuge going on in Port Charles. Just in case you missed General Hospital, we’re here to fill you in on the highlights in today’s General Hospital recap.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Love Hurts
That’s what Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is learning today, after talking to Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). He was already leaning toward having to let go of Mike Corbin (Max Gail), but now the doctor agrees. While Griffin thinks that being with his family has made a huge difference in Mike’s life, it really is time to send him where he can be better cared for. This is clearly painful for Sonny, but gives the go-ahead for Mike to go where he can get what he needs.

We see Mike packing his bags before coming downstairs to inform Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that he’s going to go live with Yvonne Godfrey (Janet Hubert). Sonny and Carly do a great job playing along with him and Carly offers to give Mike a ride. She talks him into it with relative ease, and Sonny says goodbye to his father. We have to stop and give massive props to Maurice Bernard for his acting in these scenes. Should be interesting to see how it goes from here.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Break That Wasn’t
Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) was excited to have a witness that could finally name the killer terrorizing Port Charles. Unfortunately, it seems Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is still having trouble with her memory. She tries hard to give all the details possible, but begins experiencing some physical symptoms from the effort. Laura Webber (Genie Francis) decides that time is up for now, and Jordan is inclined to agree.
Later, Laura asks Griffin to do some testing on Lulu to make sure everything is okay. He insists on doing it alone to ensure that Lulu won’t downplay any problems. After his exam, he determines she seems fine physically, but there could be emotional trauma to deal with, something he thinks a psychologist is better equipped to handle.

After, Laura insists to Jordan that as many cops as possible are out keeping an eye on the town, and she asks Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to be a personal bodyguard to Lulu. Jordan was already talking about having someone assigned to watch over her, and we have to ask ourselves again why the force wasn’t already on this, but what can ya do?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ryan Tries To Get Ava Away From Port Charles
Jordan catches sight of Not-Kevin Collins (Ryan Chamberlain, Jon Lindstrom), who is now discharged from the hospital, and asks him to speak to Lulu. Not-Kevin obliges and, obviously, does everything in his power to make sure that Lulu isn’t pushed into remembering. He stresses she might subconsciously be blocking the information, and forcing the memories could be potentially dangerous.
Laura is just worried about her daughter getting better, so she is in total agreement there. And Not-Kevin leaves, after a great moment where he mentions how important it is that Lulu is quote, “Taken care of.” This is accompanied by a kind of creepy look and tone no one seems to pick up on, but is awesome acting.
Now that he’s got that taken care of, he’s planning on trying to get Ava Jerome (Maura West) to leave town again. When she protests leaving her only living child, he says it would just be a short trip to give her a break. Yeah, right. Girl, you go on that trip, you are never coming back. #JustSaying

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Are They or Aren’t They?
Finally, let’s touch on the Dawn of Day situation. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is beyond freaked out by her most recent trip to the house, thinking that Daisy (Kelsey Wang) was a little too adamant about her guilt. She thinks the girl is being threatened, and that Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) is in much bigger trouble than she imagined there.
Given this, she’s decided she will join Dawn of Day so she’s able to be closer and maybe get to the bottom of this all for good. Jason Morgan wisely points out that she’s been too confrontational in the past, and Sam agrees. She decides she needs to pretend to be broken up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and vulnerable, following up with a slower entry into Dawn of Day.
Meanwhile, Kristina is struggling with this whole thing herself. She’s still reeling from Daisy’s admission and has a slightly soured view of the whole group now. Shiloh, clearly determined to keep her around, apologizes some more before encouraging Kristina to go a bit easy on her, as her heart was in the right place. He even goes so far as to say he feels that Daisy is in need of more education and reflection, thus removing her from her ambassador role in the group. He offers it to Kristina, and we’re curious to see how this all works out.
