British Royal Family News says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not only pulled the cord on her family and the royal family, but now they are doing the same with the British tabloid media as well. In fact, the couple formerly known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced that they are no longer cooperating with certain British tabloids. Here’s what you need to know.

Just this week, Harry and Meghan, who are now living a brand new life in Los Angeles, have announced that they will no longer provide statements or cooperate with the British tabloids because of their “distorted, false and invasive” stories. They’ve sent a letter to the publishers of The Sun, The Daily Mail, the Daily Express and the Daily Mirror, staying they won’t “offer themselves up as currency for an economy of click bait and distortion.”

The letter was released by the couple’s representative and also noted that they will have “zero engagement” with the newspapers, but added they believe that “a free press is a cornerstone to any democracy.”

Back in January, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the rather seismic announcement that they would be stepping down as full-time working members of the royal family as they wanted to be more financially independent and also wanted the freedom to work on projects and initiatives they deemed very important to their beliefs and causes.  And while they were hoping to keep at least one foot in the door, Queen Elizabeth made it clear that they had no choice but to leave the royal family as working members completely. Since then, the couple spent three months living in Vancouver and have now settled in Los Angeles, where they hope to build a new life for themselves and their family.
