CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers update for April 16th, 2020 indicate that it looks like Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will be feeling her oats with a good ol’ glass of bubbly! She’s landed that job that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) offered her awhile back so she’s feeling confident and is about to feel real cozy in a good robe with a good book. It looks like she isn’t the only one that’s in for a good night, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) who had an extremely bad day is also going to end up having a good night.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) has made reservations for them for a private suite and they are about to make beautiful music together, celebrating life as a normal couple before Sharon has to face her ultimate fear – having surgery. Rey is a good boyfriend and is just what Sharon needs right now, she’ll be so grateful for the love and support that he provides. When Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) described him as Mr. Everything, she was not kidding!

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ for April 16: Don’t be awkward, Abby!
Looks like Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) is back in town and will meet up with Mariah for drinks at Society. While there, they’ll run into Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) who seems to be over the moon about something. She’ll welcome Tessa home and then somewhere in the conversation, Lindsay (Kirby Bliss Blanton) will get brought up which will be hella awkward because as we all remember Mariah cheated on Tess with Lindsay. It doesn’t look like she’ll be appearing anytime soon though, so chances are Abby might just tell Tessa and Mariah that she quit.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ for April 16: Shut up, Theo!
Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will spot Tess and Mariah together at Society and the wheels in his head will start turning. Thankfully for them, it seems that ‘Teriah’ has worked out its issues so Theo can go bother someone else’s relationship. Mariah has no time to dwell on such things, she’s just not that type of person.
Meanwhile Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going to do her best to help Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) dig up some dirt on brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), he’ll need it after he explains the situation going on with the Newman Enterprises takeover but Phyllis will be hard pressed to find any information, especially since Abby and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) stole what seemed to be the last Las Vegas recording. Though Pyllis ay use that to her advantage. She may approach Abby and Chance at Society with a proposition to help Daddy Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) out of the big jam he’s in using that recording as evidence.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ for April 16: Chance says no
Chance makes it pretty clear that his days of dealing with Adam are over and done, he wants nothing to do with this plot and as far as he’s concerned, Adam saved his life so they are square. For now, Abby will support Chance’s decision and respect his wishes on that. However, that’s for now, if things get hairy, desperate times could call for desperate measures. And would Abby really choose her boyfriend’s happiness over the happiness of her own family? We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
