CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) recap finds that after their longstanding romance, and their children, it looks like Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has officially cut the cord with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). In the background, Y&R fans can assume that the rest of the Newman family is rejoicing over this new news. After Billy betrayed Victoria, treated her poorly, and completely lacked compassion at her vicious attack – due to Billy’s new girlfriend, Victoria has finally drawn her line in the sand.
Billy came to the ranch to speak with Victoria. She recently suffered from angina, and now is back at her family’s property recuperating. Victoria began her speech. She abruptly told Billy that he was the cause of her weakness and that they had grown apart. Victoria is firm and fierce in what she is saying. Billy tries his hand at being stoic. He plays the “oh poor me card” and sympathizes with Victoria’s feelings. However, she didn’t invite him over for sympathy or pity. She invited him over to end their relationship – for once and for all.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Recap: Victoria Hits the Stop Button On Billy
Let’s all remember that Billy has had a girlfriend in the midst of all of this. Once in which he grieved she left him. Yet, he is sitting here asking Victoria to take the time to ‘think’ about their relationship and whether it can endure this. News flash: it can’t. Billy is potentially worse than Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) in this situation. Victoria pressed on and told Billy that, essentially, there was never going to be hope for them to get back together! Thank goodness.
Billy takes one more shot at the pity card, “you can’t erase us from your heart.” He’s a true poet. However, Victoria finally has clarity and refuses to waste time and energy on their relationship. The conversation trails toward Billy’s new job and his relationship. However, she cut it short and bid him farewell, saying, “Goodbye, Billy.” Billy looks like she just kicked him. Billy looks dejected. Are you excited that this relationship is finally over? Victoria Newman is a true front-runner. We are glad that she is back on her own two feet.
