CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might be feeling like he’s on top right now, this feeling is not going to last forever. That’s because he has two people who will be slowly but surely creeping up on him to get what they want – and that’s the CEO spot of Newman Enterprises. Here’s what you need to know.
It’s without a doubt that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is feeling in the dust after his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) rescinded his offer to be the next CEO of Newman Enterprises and instead, gave the honor to his brother, Nick. This felt like a huge slap in the face for Adam, as he truly believes that he is the only member of the family who is capable enough to run the family.

That’s why Adam is plotting his own plan of revenge. He believes that he has incriminating evidence that will prove Victor Newman killed a man during his days in Kansas. Adam plans on using this evidence against Victor, much to the surprise and shock of Nick.

There’s also Phyllis Summers. She is slowly getting what she wants by sleeping her way to the top, suffice to say. If there’s anything that we’ve learned about Phyllis over the years it’s that she doesn’t do anything without a purpose. And her purpose right now is to apparently sleep with Nick in order to grab the keys to the kingdom that is Newman Enterprises. That would be her ultimate revenge against all of the Newman family members who have done her wrong in the past.
With that said, it will only be a matter of time before Adam and Phyllis battle it out – unbeknownst to Nick. Needless to say, fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next.
