CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that even after Summer Newman (Hunter King) gave each of her parents an earful about rekindling any old flames, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is still considering a serious relationship with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Why in the world would he want to start something serious with Phyllis and will she be the “voice of reason” who tells him they shouldn’t?
Today, after Summer Newman (Hunter King) left his office, Phyllis came in to talk to Nick. While she acts like it’s not a big deal and is probably hiding something inside, Nick is the one who wants to figure out what’s going on. They’ve been having sex intermittently for a few weeks and he wants to know if it means something, Phyllis tells him it could just be really good fun. Nick isn’t convinced and wants to get to the bottom of it and asks Phyllis is this is going to turn into something serious. Phyllis looks stunned.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Wants To Get Serious With Phyllis? – Is He That Lonely?
From the promo videos we saw on YouTube, they made it look like Phyllis was the one pursuing something more serious. We see her leaned over his desk asking if Nick wants to speed this up or end it right now. Appearently, that comes later. What’s interesting to me is how Nick so badly mocks and throws dirt at Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). However, here he is ready to pursue a serious relationship with an ex that has had several bad encounters with.
If Nick and Phyllis go through with this, they will be the laughing stock of Genoa City, and Billy will have something to hold over Nick’s head. Of course, is Nick really doing this just to prove to Billy that he can maintain a relationship? It seems a little far-fetched but anything Nick could do to Billy seems plausible. What do you think?
