Paula Gaitán (Shany Nadan) is currently running things while Amalia is in Mexico, and she managed to get a key witness in their custody that could blow the whole thing open. Except she might have made a mistake when she left the rest of the guys alone with their objective. A lapse in judgment led to a team member being followed to their secret hideout, as well as them having a hostile on their hands. It makes their work situation tense. However, that might not be the worst of it.

He was actually a bit annoyed to learn Vargas is back and apparently allowed on the job again. He eventually ordered Vargas out of his office. This is where he screwed up.

López should’ve known never to turn his back on a guy like Vargas. Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate Vargas used him storming to the door to open it to his advantage. He planted a device under López’s desk. It’s currently letting the bad guys hear every detail of the investigation and what they’re doing next. We have a feeling that a certain safe place won’t be safe for long. And neither will their witness. It’ll be one more blow out of many that this team suffered.
