CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have HISTORY! When he wasn’t canoodling with Sharon, he could often be found in the feisty arms of his redhead ex-wife, Phyllis. The couple definitely provides a contrast from Nick and Sharon. Whereas Sharon often falls into the “Damsel in Distress” category, Phyllis tends to take life by the horns and get things done – regardless of what it takes.
Phyllis and Nick are both powerhouses in Genoa. They scheme, they sometimes turn a blind eye to morality, and they are wildly successful. It’s no surprise that they would come back together.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick And Phyllis Re-Heating Up!
Josh Morrow recently stated that he was on the edge of leaving ‘Young and The Restless’. After being a long-standing character (who is also easy on the eyes), the producers worked with Josh to try to keep him on board. One of the conditions was apparently for his character to kiss away Sharon and stop the on-again-off-again relationship for once and for all. So far, that seems to be going pretty well for Josh, as Nick was found making out with ex-wife and mother of his child, Phyllis. Nick and Phyllis have always had a flirty, intense relationship. Both have strong personality traits and the couple seems to bounce well off eachother. At Victor’s big gala, Phyllis and Nick seemed to have a moment in the heat of passion.
Nick has always understood and Phyllis for exactly what she is – feisty, scheming and powerful. After overhearing Phyllis’ argument over her blackmail of Chelsea, Nick couldn’t help but poke a little fun at her.
This proved to be a successful flirting tactic, because the next thing we know, the two are kissing! The kiss was steamy, passionate, and bid due to Nick and Sharon – potentially for good. After the kissing, Nick and Phyllis followed up with sweet sentiments. Nick told Phyllis that she sees into his soul, and Phyllis responded that Nick really knows her. We would hope so, considering at one point they were married.
So what does this mean for Genoa’s most eligible bachelor? Will he fall back into bed with Phyllis? Will this satisfy Josh Morrow so he stays on the show?
