CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that right now the only Forrester man who is showing any sort of force right now is Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and he’s downright psychotic. For now let’s focus on the two patriarchs of the clan, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Maybe Ridge was hell on wheels back in his heyday but its been awhile since we’ve seen the guy at his full power. It seems that Ridge is eager to get on with living the easy life. He doesn’t want to really dwell on anything bad that his son may have done, all he wants to do is move on and live out his golden years comfortably with his wife, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) or at least he did, not sure if that is the case now.

You would think if anyone would be able to reign in the Forrester Family it would be Eric Forrester, but nope, he seems to have the same chronic “I don’t want to be bothered-itis” as his son. Perhaps an even worse case of it because he hasn’t been able to make an effect on anything his sons have done in the past.. Oh I don’t know, more than 20 years? Was he ever even a blip on the radar as a patriarch or was it all Stephanie behind the throne?

So I’ve got some bad news for Thomas Forrester. He may be hell to deal with right now but there is a day coming where he’s going to be affected by a case of the lazies. There will come a day in which his scheming will come to an end and it may come sooner than he thinks. It looks the te moment a Forrester man is happy and content in his life is the moment that he stops striving and therefore scheming for anything more. He becomes complacent. And that’s when it’ll be time for the new Forrester heir to take hold. And seeing as Thomas is really upsetting Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) right now, the kid’s teenage years are going to be a trip. Forget all the therapy bills he’s going to have to pay, he’ll pay emotionally with all the scheming teenage Douglas will do against him when he really realizes all the pain his Dad was responsible for.
But getting back to the current patriarchs, they aren’t doing a thing to really hold up their legacy. If Eric and Ridge had some sense about them they would at least investigate things, but in the name of not being like Stepahnie they’ve checked out. (Was Eric ever really checked in though, honestly?) They’re letting Thomas run amok and the thing is both are giving him a pat on the back while he does it. Steffy doesn’t seem to have inherited this crazy scheming gene but maybe I just haven’t looked closely enough yet. Maybe the right scheme just hasn’t come along. Looks like the Forrester Legacy is going to run from one crazy to another until its run into the ground. Guess we’ll see though, stay tuned!!!
