ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that the Corinthos family are going to be put to the test. Because there is someone out there that is trying to not only destroy them, but potentially kill them in the process, too. And that’s something neither Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) nor Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will allow to happen. At least, not on their clock. Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, ‘General Hospital’ co-head writer Dan O’Connor admits that while they certainly do have their problems, the Corinthos family will come together to put on a united front. After all, this family knows that if they don’t stick together, they will fall apart.

O’Connor told the publication, “It’s been a long time since the Corinthos family had to deal with a clear and present danger like the one they currently face. The last time, Carly made it clear to Sonny in no uncertain terms that she wasn’t going to be kept in the dark anymore. This time, expect to see them tackle what’s a head as a team. Sonny is determined to protect his family and his loved ones.”
And while it all sounds very easy on paper, it might be difficult for Sonny and Carly to trust one another. After all, it was Carly who was recently keeping secrets from her husband about Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and his sudden reappearance in Port Charles. If that weren’t enough, she’s been also getting too close for comfort with her ex, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). But despite their issues, Sonny and Carly will have to learn to trust each other while also tuning out from all of the background noise. In other words, the next several weeks are not only going to test their patience, but their marriage, too. Needless to say, ‘General Hospital’ fans will have to tune in for all of the action.
