CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has her first day of chemotherapy and responds to it pretty well! She even has to tell her loving family, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) that they need to take a step back. They’re hovering. Rey tells Sharon that he’s taking a step back from work, and Mariah tries to stay the whole time Sharon’s getting her treatment but Sharon even tells her she doesn’t have to stay.
Mariah and Rey go with Sharon to the doctor’s office for her chemotherapy. The nurse gets her set up and asks Sharon if she has any questions. Sharon tells her she’s read a lot of stuff online and kind of knows what to expect, on paper anyway. Before she starts she tells Rey he can go, he doesn’t need to stay. Rey lets it out that he has offloaded some cases to the other detectives. Sharon is upset he’s changing his life because of her. He tells her she is his life now.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Has Her First Day Of Chemotherapy – Mariah & Rey Hover
During her chemotherapy, she and Mariah play silly quizzes on Mariah’s phone. Every so often, Sharon peeks up at the chemo dropper. It hits her hard seeing it in person. Later they go back to the coffee house and Rey and Mariah are lingering over Sharon and asking if they can do anything. Sharon tells them to just ask how she is instead of beating around the bush.
Rey Rosales and Mariah ask her how she is. Sharon tells them she feels fine, it was the first day. The side effects, if any haven’t begun yet.
