CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) is celebrating an enormous milestone! Not only did the soap opera expand from 30 minutes to an hour, but they also brought in Eric Braeden to help flesh out the show. He’s been acting for over 50 years and is celebrating his 31-year tenure on ‘The Young and the Restless’.
Inside the show to commemorate his success they doing the 50th Anniversary Gala for Newman Enterprises. Robert Adamson (Noah, Victor’s grandson), Meg Bennett (Julia, Victor’s first wife), and Robert Parucha (Matt Miller, Victor’s brother) will return to the show for the festivities. Not only did the actor discuss his role on the show, but also his own personal life.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Eric Braeden Celebrates 31 Years On Y&R – Appeared On ‘The Talk’ Today
Victor Newman has been through his fair share of women, being married 6 times! Eric Braeden however, has been married to his college sweetheart for 46 years! When asked the secret behind a successful marriage, Braeden said, “Forgiveness, more forgiveness, and more beyond falling in love you need to like the other person. And you need to trust their judgment in a lot of areas in life. Uhm, I think. Beyond that, I have no secret answer to it.”
He also discusses being a father to his son, Christian. He is asked what made him a good father? Braeden answered, “I loved being a father, I loved it. I had a great son. I just enjoyed every part of it, to be honest with you. Sometimes you don’t know if you’re doing the right thing, but having a son is wonderful. What’s better now, is having a granddaughter.”
