Following reports that Applegate had been hospitalized in Los Angeles since late March, the actress took to social media to address fans directly.

Sharing a heartfelt message, she wrote:

“Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes.”

She went on to reassure followers about her condition, adding:

“Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick and I’m getting stronger and better every day.”

The post, which featured a coffee mug placed on top of her memoir You With the Sad Eyes, quickly sparked an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities.

Ongoing MS Battle Continues to Take Its Toll

Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021, a condition she has been open about ever since. The disease has had a serious impact on her daily life, something she has discussed candidly in interviews and on her podcast MeSsy.

According to reports, the actress has faced ongoing complications and difficult health periods in recent years, with sources describing her condition as unpredictable.

“Christina is a fighter, but her battle with MS has been treacherous. She has better days and really bad days,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

Fans Rally Around the Beloved Actress

As news of her hospitalization spread, fans flooded social media with messages of love and support for the Emmy-winning actress.

Applegate, who rose to fame as Kelly Bundy on Married… with Children, has remained a fan favorite for decades thanks to her comedic timing and honest personality — and her transparency about MS has only strengthened that connection.

Despite stepping back from on-screen acting, she continues to stay active through her podcast and advocacy work, often speaking openly about the realities of living with a chronic illness.

    A Courageous Voice in Hollywood

Even as she faces ongoing health challenges, Christina Applegate continues to use her platform to raise awareness and connect with others living with MS.

Her memoir and podcast have become a space for honesty, humor, and raw conversation about life with the disease — something fans say makes her more relatable than ever.

And while her latest update is reassuring, it’s also a reminder of the daily battle she continues to face.

For now, the actress says she’s focusing on her health and recovery, but promises she’ll be back with more to share soon.

I have many titles that I’m proud of – a political science major, world traveler, social media influencer and of course a mom! I am 32 years old and was born in Montreal, QC, Canada. My husband Daniel is my second half, and I have a hard time remembering life without him! We met when I was 18, and we instantly had a strong connection. I credit our long relationship to being best friends, before anything else. One of my greatest desires as an online influencer is to show other parents that it is possible to balance everyday life with parenthood. Parents can still have interests while sharing them with the best individuals of all – their children.
