‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for our final trip to Fairmont Crest this week and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Friday, April 17 looks like it’s going to be a good one as we dive into some tough moments.
Now that Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) has been punished and reminded who is in charge, he’ll meet Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) at the no-tell hotel.
Unfortunately, he’ll be sore from the beating and it’ll send Naomi into crisis mode.
Intellectually, she understands being a police officer carries risk, but this is a first for her and she’ll struggle to deal with it.
Meanwhile, Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) and Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will try to find a way to fix their friendship.
They’ll lay it all out and try to pick up the pieces. This will be a tough scene, but we think it’ll show how strong their friendship really is. We hope.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, April 17: Not ready
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers expect this will be nothing short of a nightmare moment for Naomi. After her dream where Jacob was killed, his beating will hit her hard.
She’ll try to convince him to stop his investigation and let someone else do it. He’ll refuse, saying how can he look at himself if he quits.
We think him being asked to quit will be a huge insult. After all, he only pushed for this to impress his father.
Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik) doesn’t make it easy, but he did try to convince Jacob not to do this.
Given how Elon is a dirty cop, it makes us wonder if Jacob really holds him in high esteem anymore, or is he trying to show he’s better than his father?
It’s a curious twist if that ends up being the real reason, and further explains why he can’t quit. He’ll hate what it’s doing to Naomi, but it’s something he has to do.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, April 17: Still ride or die?
It’s time for Nicole and Vanessa to have a heart to heart conversation, and it’s going to be rough.
Nicole is adamant that Vanessa puts too much faith and trust into Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
We get it and it makes sense given Joey’s reputation and having Doug McBride (Jason Graham) killed, though they don’t know that yet. Maybe they never will?
Nicole isn’t a paragon of virtue as she’s fallen and adopted Vanessa’s lifestyle, albeit she’s not married anymore.
We’re looking forward to them finding common ground a gain and have a new understanding of what’s going on.
It’s not fair to compare hardships and tragedies, but Vanessa does have her beat. Maybe it’s time for Nicole to accept Vanessa needs Joey as much as Nicole needs therapy?
Will Naomi try to out Jacob to force him to quit his undercover assignment? Let us know in the comments below.
