‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers suggest that Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) interest in Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) may be renewed now that the shocking truth about his paternity has come out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Claire May Feel Drawn to Holden
Now that we know Holden is part of the Winters family, it could completely change everything between Claire and Holden.
Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) returned to Genoa City this week, and Stephanie told Holden the truth about his father.
Stephanie told Holden that Malcolm is his biological dad. So, the man that Holden had believed for years was his father, really wasn’t. It’s a lot to process.
Additionally, Malcolm is facing a rare diagnosis called aplastic anemia. He spoke with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about his condition and asked her to get tested because he needs a bone marrow donation.
Unfortunately, Lily isn’t a viable donor because she’s a cancer survivor. Her previous chemotherapy treatments make her ineligible to donate bone marrow.
Shockingly, Holden, who was also tested, isn’t a match either. There is much speculation that someone unexpected could turn out to be a match for Holden.
Since Holden has all this intriguing family drama going on right now, it’s entirely possible that Claire could get drawn back into Holden’s orbit and help him through this difficult time.
Holden has already shared all this with Claire, and perhaps he’ll end up winning her over after all. We don’t think Holden really cares about keeping Audra Charles’s (Zuleyka Silver) secret.
It’s possible that Holden will cave and tell Claire the truth about his past with Audra in Los Angeles. If he’s willing to tell Claire everything, maybe it would bring them closer.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Claire Wants Holden to Tell Her the Truth, or She Can’t Be Serious About Him
Holden had wanted a chance to romance Claire from the moment he laid eyes on her. He’s truly smitten with her.
Claire’s whole issue with Holden was that he kept secrets. Claire has a very dark past, but she also lives her own truth.
She’s willing to be honest about her past because she’s not that person anymore. With Holden, Claire fears that since he’s hiding this part of himself, maybe it’s still in him.
Holden’s new family situation could create an opportunity for him to bond with Claire. She understands what it’s like to have an instant family but feel like an outsider.
Plus, with Holden’s mom, Claire may notice a different, sifter side of Holden that she may feel drawn to. It was a major turning point in their relationship when Claire discovered Holden’s history.
When Claire and Holden were talking about Holden’s new truth at Society, Holden got a call from his mom, Stephanie. It was clear he wasn’t ready to talk to her yet.
Claire took Holden’s hand and suggested they go for a walk. There are so many more storyline possibilities for Holden now that he’s part of the Winters family.
For example, Claire’s grandfather, Victor Newman (Eric Braden), has never trusted Holden. However, now that he’s a Winters, Victor may come around.
Now that Claire knows a deeper level to Holden, it might compel her to actually give him a chance. Claire’s feelings for Holden could go from lukewarm to something real.
