‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers pose the question: Will Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) be given the opportunity to become Phoebe’s foster parents?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A Social Worker Paid Brook Lynn and Chase a Visit
Last week, a social worker visited Brook Lynn and Chase at the Quartermaine mansion to evaluate the couple’s living situation and determine whether they would make good foster parents.
Everything was going smoothly for them, and the social worker was clearly charmed by the pair. However, there was a little blip in the plan.
Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) overheard Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LiCisero) call Michael Corinthos’s (Rory Gibson) girlfriend, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) a hooker.
Too young to understand what it meant, yet old enough to be curious, Wiley interrupted Brook Lynn and Chase’s visit to ask BLQ what a hooker was.
Brook Lynn and Chase did a wonderful job explaining to Wiley that it was a not so nice name for a job, and that he did the right thing by coming to a grown-up.
Yet the woman didn’t seem exactly amused. Brook Lynn and Chase were very worried that they had blown their chance to foster the baby.
That was until Michael had a shocking suggestion. He told them that they both knew someone with a lot of power and influence over the system: their congresswoman, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
Then, it was Brook Lynn’s turn to be unamused. Brook Lynn read Michael the riot act for bringing Willow back into Chase’s orbit.
She even denied him the last of the orange juice! While it was a cute scene, the threat that Willow poses is very real. Chase has blinders on when it comes to Willow.
He thinks that she’s the angel that everyone believed she was before Willow cheated on Michael with his uncle, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brook Lynn and Chase Feel Close to Phoebe
That said, perhaps Willow may have some sway and could facilitate the fostering process. After all, a congresswoman has pull in these situations.
While it’s not like Chase to ask for a favor like this, he and Brook Lynn desperately want to start a family, and helping little Phoebe may be the first step in that direction.
GH fans know that Chase isn’t physically capable of producing children of his own, so adopting would be the key to them raising kids together as a couple.
Foster parenting could be a good lesson for Brook Lynn and Chase. Brook Lynn didn’t even get to hold Gio Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza) before he was taken away from her as a baby.
They also feel close to Pheobe, since they met her mom, the late Delilah, when she was having labor pains.
Brook Lynn and Chase rushed her to GH, but sadly, it was too late for Delilah. Thankfully, however, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) managed to save little Phoebe.
They visited her in the hospital nursery many times since she was born, and Chase even sang her a sweet little lullaby.
Now, the couple feels responsible for offering the baby a comfortable home until they can find her a permanent, stable, and loving home.
Since the couple has a sprawling mansion with all the amenities, plenty of family members on hand to help, and two of the biggest hearts in town, we have a feeling, in the end, Brook Lynn and Chase may end up keeping the baby.
