‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has hit the kill switch on Newman Enterprises as he and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) celebrate their win.

Meanwhile, spoilers hint that Victor Newman (Eric Braden) will soon form a shocking alliance against him. We predict it’s none other than his longtime, sworn enemy: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

The two of them will undoubtedly come up with a payback scheme that will send Cane reeling. As Phyllis and Cane are gearing up to take down Victor’s family company, Jack and Victor will plot.

Once Newman Enterprises collapses, Jack may start to worry that Cane will go after Jabot next. It’s reasonable given Cane’s unpredictable nature.

Plus, Cane believes he’s lost Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for good, so he thinks he has nothing to lose. Of course, he also has Phyllis cheering him on.

After Cane and Lily shared a passionate kiss on New Year’s Eve, Lily suddenly decided to leave Genoa City so that she could make sure she didn’t make a massive mistake with Cane that she may regret. She was being reactive and overly dramatic as usual.

Since Cane has returned to town, Lily has done everything she can to push him away. Cane likely feels like he’s beating his head against the wall.

Now, Phyllis is getting everything she wants as she and Cane are eviscerating their common enemy, Victor. She couldn’t be more thrilled that she pushed Cane to embrace his inner Aristotle Dumas.

Victor and Jack had previously tried to work together to bring down Cane, but their mutual hatred made it impossible. Fans also know how insufferable Victor is. He’s not exactly a team player.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jack Could Prove Highly Useful to Victor

However, this time they can stay focused on their common goal. It would be a much-needed twist in the story if Jack and Victor collaborated to work against Cane.

Interestingly, Y&R’s head writer, Josh Griffith, recently dished to TV Insider about the upcoming partnership between Victor and Jack.

Griffith told the outlet, “Cane’s power trip will force Victor and Jack from hating each other to having to work together for the greater good, which will be interesting to see if they can pull that off without killing each other.”

While Victor will always despise Jack, his grudge against him is relentless. He blames Jack for “almost killing” Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) the night they spent at the GCAC hotel.

Jack is the reason Nikki is sober now, but Victor is insistent that what he did was unforgivable. It’s safe to say there is no love lost between Jack and “the Mustache.”

However, Cane’s dirty move to demolish Newman Enterprise may change both their perspectives as they decide that the enemy of their enemy is their friend.

Jack could also prove highly useful to Victor. We all know that Victor only makes decisions that benefit him. Jack and Victor teaming up could cause significant trouble for Cane.

The feud between the Abbotts and the Newmans is legendary. We can’t imagine anything more powerful and explosive than the two most prominent families in Genoa City allying to defeat Cane Ashby at his own game.
